Booby Trap
I booby trapped the crib so we would know if the cat was getting into it. I guess this answers the question. Remember that old joke, "The beatings will continue until morale improves?" Yeah.
LOL! Buddy kept jumping into our crib while we awaited the arrival of Emma. Everyone kept telling us that we were going to have to spray it with some product that is safe yet keeps animals away, yada, yada, yada so that the cat wouldn't smother the baby. We never did, and as soon as there was a baby in the crib, the cats stayed away.
And the cat really looks ashamed too. Might want to break that before the baby's actually in the crib. Our cat started jumping in the crib with Jacey (usually about 3:30 am) and purring around Jacey's head until she woke up to pet her - and then cry for me. Thank goodness that stopped.
