Nuke 'Em

I brought in the rest of the cake from Naomi's baby shower to work.
People are very confused because I haven't had my baby yet, therefore it can't possibly be named Sophia Colette (though it hasn't stopped anyone from taking a piece).
Our VP just said to me, "Erin! What's the deal? Are you on the microwave plan for making babies? That was fast!"
I'm still chuckling about it.
I thought that was a good one.

It's amazing how people at work will eat stuff no matter where it came from or how confusing they may find it. The rule seems to be eat it first, ask questions later. LOL!

The microwave comment was cute, too. I never heard that one before. :o)

The people at the office will eat the candy your kids reject from halloween when you bring it in the week before thanksgiving! For some reason the favorite in my new office is beer dip and pretzels. And they start on it first thing in the morning. Is that a hang over thing?
