One of my co-workers just asked me how I'm feeling.
I said, "Pretty good. It gets to be this time of day and I start to get really tired. Other than that, I can't complain!"
She said, "Well, I hope you know you have a long way to go."
Really? That hadn't occurred to me.

OH MY GOODNESS! What a rotten thing to say. That comes under the NSS heading.
How about a comeback?
"Not as long as it will take you to lose that extra weight."
Isn't that like saying "You have a long way to go" when you've only eaten the first bite of a big cookie?
Yes, it looked like there was pain and discomfort with both of Cheryl's pregnancies but she would do it again.
Buy your helpful co-worker some breath mints and let her know you thought she could use them...
Oh Erin, that was a perfect application of "the question."
'You have a long ways to go' coworker.
Erin 'Does that sound stupid to you?'
I am sorry. I apologize for her stupidity and offer this. It takes as long as it takes. Love you!!
Erin, all I can say is you work with a bunch of weirdos. I'm sorry if that was mean, but come on!!! Who says that? That person could have just said, "You're pregnant? Wow! That's gonna hurt." Sheesh!
