Wading Pool, day 2

Time spent in the pool is exactly half the time it takes to apply sunscreen.

Our neighbor gave Shirley Jean a wading pool for our backyard.

She was so excited to try it out, I didn't even bother with a swimsuit!

Locked Out

Well, we finally broke down and put child locks on the cupboards under the kitchen sink. Until last week, SJ was much more interested in the pots and pans...until she realized how colorful the cleaning supplies under the sink are. I can't say I blame her.

You will be happy to know that the locks are also Mommy-proof.

So, I bought one of those ottomans that you can use to store stuff. It's been a lifesaver as a toybox. I can't believe it took Shirley Jean this long to figure out how to get inside of it...

As you can see by the background...she had to empty the ottoman before she could get in.
