hmmm, i might think differently, but i'm sure you're right. OOH! my code starts with "eau" this is a sign that your wee babe will head for UWEC just like his (or her) smart momma.
Matthew never cared about those things. Honestly, I don't think he could tell the difference between a sleeper, jumper or any other article of baby clothing.
I suggest packing two "going home" outfits. Anna blew out her diaper immediately after I put her cute outfit on. She wore a boring sleeper home. Never thought a newborn would do that?!
Wade's color blind; he was liable not to notice the difference between pink and green, blue or lavender, etc.
If I showed him ahead of time, he couldn't care less. But he did surprise me at the hospital...Wade knows I just love to have matching blankets & outfits--especially for newborns. I didn't have a boy set at all when Nathan was born, so Wade went out to Kohl's within hours of Nathan's birth and bought 2 adorable ones! (He was SO proud of himself, too.) You just never know what might grab Richard's heart. But you're right, don't let it hurt your feelings too much if he doesn't get into these kinds of details. :)
They are a big deal to me, and therefore Josh has learned to play along. With this kiddo, he really got into picking out the outfits, which made me smile ALOT!
Jeff, Not all that alarming. : ) Cara, we actually had fun picking them out. We split up and each ended up picking the SAME outfit, but in different colors.
Too bad your BOY might have to come home in a GIRL'S outfit. Since you are only packing one outfit for him, and he might poop on it. Newborns do that a lot. But you know, whatever floats your boat. It will be a good story to tell him someday.

No not really. Pick your battles, I always say.

Haha! Thanks, Katie. Scary. LOL
That reminds me--I have a blog idea now. Thanks Erin--or should I thank Richard?

S0 are you packing pink or blue? I won't tell anyone, I promise.
One of each.
Ok, actually, two pink, one blue, if you must know.
It might alarm you to know how hard I laughed when I read this post.

Apparently Naomi feels you are having a boy.
It's not a boy.
It's a boy.

I vote it's a girl--but then again I'm usually wrong.
